OUR PROCESS IN 7 EASY STEPS!
STEP ONE: INITIAL INQUIRY & EVALUATION (Payment Not Required)
After making initial contact with Aquastar Pool Services via our online NEW POOL CONSTRUCTION REQUEST FORM, our team will evaluate your project and will make contact within three business days. Unfortunately, we cannot always accommodate every request we receive. We will carefully evaluate your inquiry and then advise you if we can take on your project or need to decline due to timing issues, scope of work, budget or location restrictions.
STEP TWO: SITE VISIT (Payment Not Required)
If the initial evaluation has proven to be a good fit, we will schedule a meeting to visit your property and discuss your goals and proposed budget. Once the site visit evaluation has been completed and you wish to move forward, we will calculate your project’s design fee and create the design contract to be signed.
STEP THREE: DESIGN PHASE (Payment Required)
— Site Survey:
After signing your Design Contract we will visit your site and gather specific site information, measurements, calculate elevations, grades and then take multiple photographs. Once this process is completed we will prepare an accurate scaled plan of your site.
— Property Details:
Our research staff will investigate the project site and gather all information regarding zoning restrictions, city by-laws, lot coverage allowances, property setbacks, conservation authority etc. This collection of findings with paint a clear picture of what can be done on your property.
— Discuss Your Desired Wish List:
At this stage you will meet with your designer and develop a list of ideas that work with your property. The designer will also communicate the price ranges for each project element and guide you in staying within your budget requirements.
— 2D Plan Meeting:
After collecting the wish list data and having a preliminary understanding on design features, your designer will create the initial 2D concept drawing with an estimated cost to build. Once completed, you will be contacted to meet with the designer and express your thoughts and any changes you may have after-which you will be required to approve the final 2D design.
— 3D Rendering:
The designer will take your 2D approved drawings and turn them into reality via a Digital 3D Model. This 3D model will create a clear picture of what your Backyard Getaway will look like once completed.
— Scope of Work / Timeline / Final Estimate:
When you are sure on the final design and give us your approval, Aquastar Pool Services will prepare a detailed scope of work and the final construction estimate.
STEP FOUR: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (Deposit Required at this time)
Upon approval to proceed with your 3D site design, we will create a official construction contract, obtain signatures and request a deposit cheque.
STEP FIVE: PERMIT APPLICATION / DRAWINGS (Payment Required)
Aquastar Services will only do things by the book, if permits are required for your job we can initiate & start the application process on your behalf. Permits require multiple drawings to be made, which will give the city building department a precise picture of the construction being carried out at your property.
STEP SIX: PROJECT TIMING MEETING (Payment Not Required)
A meeting will be arranged with you and your project manager to review our plan to complete your project in the most timely way possible.
STEP SEVEN: CONSTRUCTION COMMENCES (Payment Required)
This is where we take full control while you sit back and relax. You will be informed of any necessary details during construction on a need-to-know basis.
